I asked for a refund and it still never came through. I keep checking but nothing has shown up yet and it is frustrating.

I used InternationalCupid for a few weeks, and to be honest, I came away feeling unsure about the profile quality. Some people seemed genuine enough, but there were also loads of profiles with overly perfect photos, barely any bio, or messages that felt like they were copied and pasted.
I’m not saying everyone on there is fake, but it definitely made me question who I was actually talking to. I even had to chase them about my concerns, which was frustrating for a paid dating site. I expected better checks and quicker support. It’s not the worst site I’ve tried, but I didn’t leave feeling very confident in it.

I paid for a month on InternationalCupid thinking it might open things up a bit, but it felt like a waste. A lot of messages just went nowhere, and plenty of profiles seemed like they hadn’t been active in forever. The free version is so limited that you pretty much have to pay, but once I did, it still didn’t feel worth the price. I expected a lot more and just... yeah.

Canceling was more confusing than it needed to be. Took me a few tries to get it done, which was annoying. Not the end of the world, but still a pain in the butt.

This app is so frustrating to use. The whole site feels old and clunky, like nobody’s updated it in years on purpose. Pages take forever to load, buttons randomly don’t respond, and every time I try to check my messages, the app freezes like it’s trying to stop me from seeing something. The search filters are a mess too, I’ll set them up, and then somehow they reset themselves. Coincidence? Maybe, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it. For a dating app, it should be simple and smooth, but this just makes the whole experience annoying.

I tried internationalcupid for a month, mostly because I wanted to see if it was worth my time without getting trapped into paying again. I’m always a little suspicious with dating sites and auto renewal, so I was paying close attention before I put my card in.

To be fair, the renewal info was easy for me to spot on the payment page, and I found the cancel option in my account settings without having to hunt around forever. I do think the reminder email could stand out more, though, because I personally would rather not miss something like that.

In the end, it wasn’t a big problem for me. I read the billing section, cancelled before the renewal date, and it stopped like it was supposed to. I’d give it 4 stars based on my experience.

I paid to be able to chat, so it’s frustrating when that’s the part that keeps failing. At this point it just feels annoying and not really worth it.

I’m not feeling great about how this handles privacy. Compared to other apps I’ve used, it just doesn’t give me the same confidence that my data is actually secure. Maybe it’s fine behind the scenes, but as a user, I don’t feel very safe trusting it with my information

I tried to verify my account and it just kept failing over and over. I uploaded my ID twice and still didn’t get any clear help from support, just vague responses that didn’t solve anything. It was really frustrating because I couldn’t even use the site properly, and it made me lose a lot of trust in the whole process.

I don’t know, maybe I’m expecting too much, but the message translations have been frustrating. Sometimes they come through weird, and other times it feels like they don’t translate properly at all. A few of my chats ended up getting misunderstood, which makes conversations feel awkward and clunky. For a paid dating site, I kind of expected chatting to be smoother

I signed up thinking there would be a much wider mix of people from different countries, but most of the profiles I kept seeing were from the same few places. It made the whole experience feel limited, especially for something I paid for. i don’t feel like I got what was advertised, so I’d expect some kind of compensation or refund.

I’ve had mixed results with reporting fake profiles. Sometimes it does seem to work, but other times those accounts stay up way longer than they should. What’s especially annoying is how unclear the communication is after you report something, you don’t really know what’s happening or if anyone is actually looking into it.

I’ve been trying to use the search on InternationalCupid, but it just gives me more work than it should. I’ll set things like age range, country, and last active, and then I still get shown people way outside those filters or profiles that look like they haven’t been touched in forever.
Every time I tweak the filters, I end up having to sift through a bunch of results manually anyway, which kind of defeats the whole point. It feels random, like the site only pays attention to some of the settings, and browsing turns into a chore really fast.

I reached out to support twice and, for some reason, never got a real answer either time. I just ended up waiting around with no help, which was frustrating. Not really worth the hassle.
